Two weeks ago, Hubby and I went on a date at SM North Edsa. We normally do dates however this time we did it on a Friday.
It was the first day showing of the movie The Amazing Spiderman and we wanted to be one of the firsts to see it. The night before I already checked the cinemas where we can watch the movie. Hubby wanted it on IMAX at SM Mall of Asia but after checking the available seats (and since we'll watch on a Friday), it was better to choose SM North Edsa instead.
After watching the movie at SM North IMAX, we decided to try another buffet restaurant. This time we fancied on the Korean Buffet resto at SM North Annex - the Seoul Garden. Seoul Garden is an authentic Korean-styled BBQ buffet restaurant and they have several branches around Asia. We arrived at 5:30PM and was immediately escorted by a waiter to the buffet area and our table.
We were offered soup and we asked for their specialty - Chicken Ginger. Our grill was turned on and the soup was prepared.
There were only a few people during that time and it was a good thing since we can go back and forth the buffet area without the crowd. By the time it was 6PM, people started to come in.
Overall, we were not impressed with the variety and selection of food that they have. Very minimal - from meat to veggies to dessert. And a number of meats tasted the same whether it was chicken, beef or pork. Their available fruits were ONLY three. On the good side though, they have unlimited drinks - soda, red iced tea.
For Php645/pax plus service tax, I'd prefer to go to other buffet restaurant.
Here are some pictures I took during the experience (note: taking pictures of food are not allowed. I was already done taking pics when they told me that.)
